Thank you for stopping in again today..I am sharing some of the treasures I have displayed on the mantle that we collected over the years from around the country at various auction sales, antique shops and car boot sales.
Three little pocket knifes..an arrow head and a pocket watch
Two of my favorite little vases e marked France and the other PS Germany. My little pink creamer is Limoges.
A lovely photo of my Great Grandmother and her children..my Grandmother is sitting beside her. Also shown is a hand painted floral pin that belonged to her.
This cupid wall pocket is so delicate & pretty with all its flowers.. Can a girl have too many domed silver plated butter dishes? I don't think so.. Thank you for stopping in today..have a wonderful weekend!
Oh My!! I am drooling over that pitcher! I have similar that were my Grandmothers. And the butter dishes...to find some and find that many styles! Love the picture of your Grandmother and her family intermingled in the display.
Wow, those are all so beautiful...I have a pitcher similar to the first photo you shared here. Maybe I'll repost some photos this week!!! I always like it when objects like this have floral detail. It adds to their beauty ) :) No, there is no such thing as too many domed butter dishes ) :) :) :) I have this delicate little shell pin that my great=grandmother made. it's pink and white and made to look like little flowers. Thanks for sharing all these beautiful items with us :) Have a lovely weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
Beautiful pitcher. It is so pretty. Wanda, what is a car boot sale? I have never heard this term before. You have perked my interest! Beautiful items you have. ~Shirley
Thanks for your comment! Shirley a Car boot sale is what they had in England when we were there. I assume it is in place of garage sales as we have. Cars gather in a parking lot and sell there antiques out of the trunk. (trunk called a boot in London) Hope that helps..
Your home is so filled with beautiful things Wanda. The piture of course is my favorite and I think it has something to do with the roses.LOL! I adore that picture of your G-Grandmother and her children. hugs

We have just recently Retired and plan to spend our Winter months at our Park Model Vacation Home in Arizona.
I have started a new Blog and I will be sharing the progress of the renovations we are planning to do to make it our Home away from Home.
My Sweetheart & I have one puppy named Sweetpea and he keeps us active walking three times a day.
We relocated to a small Seaside town of 3000 people in 2015 and are enjoying the small town life. Life is so much easier but I have to keep reminding myself while out treasure hunting that I now have limited space so I had better LOVE the pieces I drag home!
Molto belli questi tesori,mi piace molto la brocca a fiori e la foto della bisnonna con i suoi figli.Buon fine settimana,Rosetta
