Charity shop find..Red Transferware Soup Tureen!

Hello my fellow Blogging friends..I was out today searching for treasures and came upon this Red Transferware Soup Tureen.
I had to pay $29.99 for it but I think it is worth it..what do you think? I don't think it is very old but it goes nicely with my other pieces. The bottom is marker Japan.

Thank you for stopping in again & I wish you luck finding your own treasures!
Blessings..

A wonderful sunny Tuesday to enjoy a cup of Tea in the Garden...

Good afternoon & thank you for stopping in for a visit!

Today I am having Tea on the deck at the back of our house and I am featuring some of my red transferware from England maker Adams (member of the Wedgewood Group) and pattern English Scenic

I love vintage linens and this tea cloth I am using is a crisp white with soft pink roses done in needlework..

You may have noticed in my older posts I like to use faux pastries and these little cakes are actually placecard holders! Much less risk of me having a nibble.. ; )

Pink depression glass is also another favorite of mine and these are two of my candle stick collection.

Please check out Martha@marthasfavorites.com Tea Time Tuesday! And Sandi@rosechintzcottage for Tea Time Tuesday!

Have a wonderful week and remember "Life is a Gift..untie the Ribbons.."

My vintage tea cloth is a bright white with Asian inspired bue stitching on all four corners of the cloth..

More Pinks

Thank you for stopping in today...I missed registering for Pink Saturday this week but wanted to post some of my Pinks..
The top photo is some more items on our mantel. The photo is of my Great Grandmother Agnes and the sweet little blond girl is my Grandmother Laura. My great aunt Alice is holding the flower bouquet and Uncle Ray is sitting on her Agnes's lap. My Grandmother passes away at 32 years of age in childbirth so I treasure this photo...
I love collecting vintage post cards..my rose collection is my favorite. They are under glass on this oval tray table in our Parlor.

I dabbled in stain glass design for a few years and this is the first piece I created.

This sweet little jug is made in Germany and I love the delicate shape and of course the rose decoration.
Have a wonderful weekend & please stop in again..
Hugs,
Wanda
