Celebrating!

Welcome and thank you for stopping in today! I am celebrating my 54th Birthday this coming Friday and my Sweetie & I are headed to San Francisco for two weeks. I can't wait to explore this part of the World as I have heard so many friends talk about their experiences there. We have rented a small Condo right in Union Square so we will be in the centre of everything! Since we are there for Valentines Day we will scout out a Romantic place for Dinner to celebrate our Love there too.
My beautiful flowers I am sharing were given to me last weekend from a couple we have met in our new community. I am so happy I kept the large sealer they are in as I love the colour of the glass with the pinks & greens of the flowers.
I will post some photos of our travels once we return home.. take care!

Random

Happy Sunday everyone! Today I am sharing some random shots I took while wandering around our home. This little painted night table is in the dressing area of our Bedroom. The two vintage dresser jars are glass containers with a beautiful portrait painting on the lids.

Don't you just love my tag created by Cindy @ cindyadkinswhimsicalmusings.blogspot.com stop in and see this talented Lady.

This grouping of pretty jars and jewelry is in the ensuite vanity.

My little rose soap dish is perfect for holding some of my vintage brooches.

We have only been in the Condo a few months and I am already changing up the pictures on the Dining Room wall. I know some of you lovely Ladies do this on a regular basis so I am not too concerned. ; )

I think I have shared this picture in the past. It was a Family piece that hung over my Mother's Family dining room table when she was a child so it is very special to me.

Santa must have forgotten I had parted with most of my tea cup collection when we downsized as he brought me the beauty on the bottom shelf. It is simply marked Royal Albert Bone China England.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As I reflect on 2011 I realize how lucky we are to have good health.. great Family & Friends!

2012 is going to be even better.. I can feel it in my bones! Blogging has opened my eyes to new ideas and I have met such new wonderful Friends! The talent I have seen and the energy some of you lovely Ladies have amazes me to this day! Every day of 2012 will be spent looking at the lovely photos in my calendar above.. thank you June!

Please sit and share a cup of tea with me.. and for Goodness sakes please eat some of these chocolates! I can't seem to stop..

I am loving the new look on our mantle below. Two of my favourite things.. Red wine & Vintage lace... (No I do not have a problem with the wine lol)

2011 brought us a new move to a small town of 1200 residences situated in a lovely valley 20 minutes from the larger city we were both born & raised.

We are really loving condo life!

2011 also brought us a new Grand Daughter Kylie.. isn't she sweet?

Her older sister Vayda is so excited to have a sister and below she is dancing on Christmas day. I have decided I am going to dance more too in 2012.

Below are our Grandsons Tait, Rylan & Donovan and are they growing up so fast!
