Welcome & thank you for stopping in today. I am sharing photos of the newest addition to our ensuite. The stained glass piece was one of the first pieces I made.
This vintage cabinet was a piece that was available at the Antique Sale I helped with a few weeks ago. I love that it is so shallow in depth but holders so much storage and decor pieces.
This sweet little hand painted lid is so pretty... don't you agree?
My guest towel below was made by my Grandmother Laura and she passed away at age 36 so it is very special to me.
The label above is one I found on Graphics Fairy and I love it colours and design.
The little baskets are great for storing extra hand towels and air fresheners etc.
Don't you just love the sweet cherub below. I was told he used to be part of a napkin ring.
Some needlework pieces above in the room that were made by Family members, and the pieces below are vintage.

Welcome....
Today I am sharing my RS Prussia Cracker Jar that was gifted to me last week. Our Dear friends had owned an Antique store and retired 10 yrs ago. They have decided to sell their home and downsize this year so I had offered to help them hold an Antique sale this past week and they gifted me with this beautiful piece which I will treasure!
I had purchased this lovely gilded stand and two smaller ones that were once used for a Mantle clock and two candlesticks.
The colours on the jar are so dreamy....

Wednesday already.... the time is flying by so fast this year.

What a sweet surprise I received from my Honey this week! He brought these lovely pink roses home for me Thursday and they are so beautiful!
He advised me he had put in his Retirement notice for December 1st and I could not be happier for him. The stress his career has put on him the past few years has made us wish he would have retired earlier but we are so happy it is happening now.
My retirement this Spring has made me realize there is allot more to life than work and I feel so blessed that I could retire at 55.
Our plans are to travel at least 6 months next year and we are so excited to explore the World!
We look forward to stopping and smelling the Roses!

My recent stop at a local Salvation Army thrift store was very exciting for me.
I found this lovely mirror for our foyer and just knew I had to paint it "Duck Egg" to coordinate with our little table that was there.
This little table was purchased a few years ago at Winner's which is Canada's TJ Maxx.
The Annie Sloan chalk paint is such a nice match to the piece I just knew it would be perfect!
Our area carpet in the foyer was purchased on a trip to North Dakota a few years ago and it looks great with these pieces. Don't you agree?

Welcome...
While going through some of my storage pieces I came upon this lovely image.
It is in sepia tones and the paper appears vintage but I can't for the life of me recall where or when I collected it. I hope you enjoy seeing it...
It almost looks like a picture that would have been in a frame when purchased new? No matter, I love it and will have to get it in a vintage silver frame so it shows its beauty.
A few vintage rhinestone brooches...vintage linen and my silver plate tray...
I have added my little glass scotty dog that my Mother always had in her china cabinet.

Hello & welcome
Today I am sharing my floral bouquet that my darling Daughter In Law brought me earlier this week. She sensed I was having a bad day and stopped in for a visit with our two sweet granddaughters.
I added some of my vintage floral postcards to the silver tray and loved the way it looks.
We are so very lucky to have this thoughtful young women in our lives.
