Beauty of Brugge

Brugge how we loved Thee...
I think of all the Canal tours we took we enjoyed Brugge's the most. The architecture was so amazing for the whole tour.

It appears I was drawn to the colour red on this day... so crisp and alive...

You may notice in my photos I was also drawn to all the old iron light stands...

The glorious moss growing on this brick building adds to it's charm...

Why don't we design our buildings like below any more? I swoon when I see these types of windows...

Glimpse of the windows from the inside out...

Thank you for stopping in today... I will share more posts from the thousands of photos we took on this magical adventure in Europe.

Blessings,
Wanda

  1. Wow Wanda, gorgeous! I wish buildings were built today like they were a hundred years ago too! So much beauty and character to look at.
    Have a great week,

  2. Brugge is so beautiful Wanda and you made lovely pictures of wonderful old buildings. I prefer the old architecture also much more than the ultra modern designs of today.

  4. Gorgeous, Wanda! Love the architecture too, and always amazed at out how old it all is...unlike here in a much younger "America!"

  7. Hi Wanda,
Brugge is such a lovely place and so is the entire country of Belgium. You are so fortunate to have visited there and your photos are wonderful. I lived in Mons Belgium for two years and I loved the country and the people. I'd love to return one day.

    hugs
    Sissie
