RS Prussia Cracker Jar
Welcome....
Today I am sharing my RS Prussia Cracker Jar that was gifted to me last week. Our Dear friends had owned an Antique store and retired 10 yrs ago. They have decided to sell their home and downsize this year so I had offered to help them hold an Antique sale this past week and they gifted me with this beautiful piece which I will treasure!
I had purchased this lovely gilded stand and two smaller ones that were once used for a Mantle clock and two candlesticks.
The colours on the jar are so dreamy....
Today I am joining Sandi @ Rose Chintz Cottage so please check out the other posts.

Your cracker jar is absolutely glorious!! The colors are amazing! Can you tell me a little bit about what makes this a cracker jar? I am not familiar with them but am anxious to learn. I plan to be on the look out for them from now on.
ReplyDeleteHello
DeleteI was told this by my friend who gifted it to me. He was a European Antique dealer for 50 years and has seen many of them over the years. Then I googled RS Prussia Cracker Jar and there it was... it is bigger than the victorian sugar bowl and smaller than a biscuit jar. Thanks for visiting today!
What a good friend you are. That jar is absolutely breathtaking! Gorgeous! They don't make things like they use to!
