Vintage Bird Etchings Collection
Happy Fall my fellow Bloggers!
Today I am sharing with you my most recent collection of Vintage Bird Etchings.
The pieces are from the late 1800's and where once in a book.
The colours are so bright and crisp I love each one as much as the first.I hope you enjoy them as much as I do...
The two framed below were done in a 16 x 20 frame and it hangs in the entranceway of the our Condo Lobby. It was hard to get a good shot of the finished piece with the glare of the glass.
I will have to choose carefully when deciding which other ones to frame as the cost of framing and matting them was high.

Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you have to cut the mats custom? But for future reference, frames are inexpensive at IKEA. They are also inexpensive at Aaron Brothers, if you catch one of their sales that happen about twice a year: buy one get one for a penny.
Hi Wanda,
ReplyDeleteHow lovely your vintage bird etchings are and love the ducks you have framed.
Happy weekend
hugs

Hi Wanda,
ReplyDeleteI like your framed ducks, makes for a very attactive picture! It is too bad that it is so pricey to have the etchings matted and framed! I do appreciate you sharing this at my HOME. Hope you're having a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Sandi

The prints are amazing! Love the old old ones. Nice framing...why do they charge soooooo much? I sometimes frame things myself but it is not easy. Guess that's why it costs so much! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
These are beautiful!!! I really love the variety of your collection Wanda. I am such a bird lover so I really love this collection of yours.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about framing costs, it can be so pricey. But the ones you have hanging are worth every penny.
