My Love of Vintage Jewelry...Yellow Topaz pieces

Welcome again today to my little Blog! Today I am sharing with all of you another gemstone in my collection of Vintage jewelry. Yellow Topaz pieces seem to go with everything in my wardrobe so I wear them the most in my daily dressing. I hope you enjoy a little glimpse.

My filigree brooch is another piece I was gifted by my dear friend on one of our gift exchanges I had mentioned in an earlier post.

The smaller pin at the bottom was a treasure we found on our trip to Bath England thirteen years ago. It was so discoloured with years dirt and grime I was so happy with the way it looked once I cleaned her up.

A co-worker presented me with the earrings that were her mother's once she saw me wearing the first brooch and they really compliment each other. My little butterfly pin is so sweet as well and for the life of me I can't recall where I came across it. Odd for me as I usually remember where all of my treasures originated and what we had to pay for them. Some really great finds for really great prices have enabled me to have a great collection.
Thank you for stopping in again and sharing your Sweet comments.
My thoughts are with all of my Blogging Friends that are in the path of Irene...take care and Be Safe!

Wanda

More of my Vintage jewelry collection..

Welcome to my Blog today! I am sharing another grouping of my collection of Vintage jewelry today. My love of Cameos started early in my 30's when my hair colour was a auburn tone and my wardrobe consisted of allot of browns and taupes.

My cameo necklace is a piece my Sweetie gifted me one year for christmas and I have been told by an appraiser it is from the early 1900's. The small seed pearls add to its charm and I adore it!

My smaller bracelet was found in a quaint Antique shop on our vacation to Bath England  thirteen years ago.

The lighter coloured cameo ring was also gifted to me by my Sweet husband and I found the bigger bracelet in my home town.

On our vacation to PEI Canada the lovely hostess of our B & B gifted me the darker cameo ring... so sweet of her! She sold jewelry & antiques from the B & B and I left with quite a few pieces I will be sharing in the weeks to come.

I hope you enjoyed another glimpse into my collection and I look forward to sharing another grouping next week. Have a wonderful week ahead!

My Love of Vintage Jewelry...

Welcome & thank you for stopping in today... I am sharing with all of you my collection of Vintage jewelry and will try and post a different grouping every week. I hope you enjoy my treasures!

The pieces I am sharing today are some of my favourite. The Garnet brooch at the top is a piece my Sweetie found on the West Coast of Canada in a darling little Antique shop.

My Dear friend gifted my with the round Garnet pin above for my 45th birthday. We both love to collect vintage pieces and search all year long for the perfect piece for gifting each other at Christmas and birthdays.

I treasure the ring box above as my Mother's wedding ring was purchased in this box in 1950.

Inside the ring box is my Garnet ring that really compliments the other two pieces I am sharing today.
Please stop in again next week as I will be sharing another group in my collection... cameos perhaps?
Have a great week ahead!

Blessings,
Wanda

Live every Day as if it was your last ...

This last week has been very difficult and heart breaking. Our Friend and Co-worker passed away far to soon at the age of 40. Brenda was a Mother..Wife..and Friend who will be deeply missed. She had a benign brain tumour and had come through a six hour surgery last week but during the night she suffered a massive stroke and passed away the following day. She was at work right up until her surgery date and I truly wish she would have taken time off to spend time with her family instead. Life is just way to short and I plan to spend every day like it is my last... Rest in peace Brenda and I know our parents greeted you at Heavens Gates..

Enjoying Life..

Thank you for stopping in again today! As you can see we are all settled in to our new Condo  and we are loving it!

The open plan is something we are getting used to too but so far so good. Our poor little 8 x 10 storage room is packed full so we will have allot of different looks with changes in pictures and accessories.

We have purchased a Robot Roomba to do our vacuuming so we are going to have to find something to do with our spare time as we no longer have a garden to manage either... oh life is good!

I kept allot of my red transferware china as I love it so much!

Behind this door is the laundry room which is not that exciting with our stacking washer & dryer..furnace etc.

The view of the Valley hills is glorious but not easily photography as you can see...

Our second bedroom makes a wonderful reading ....sitting room
where I can relax and enjoy my collection of Victoria magazines.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today... stop in again!

Blessing,

Wanda
