Time to Reflect..

Well another year has gone by quickly and it is once again time to step back and reflect on the past year..after a busy few days back at work this week I was so looking forward to getting home and relaxing with a cup of fresh coffee & some dainties!

I had mentioned in earlier posts that my Sweetie & I were thinking of downsizing to a Condo this past year and it did not happen so we will have to really think if this is what we are still wanting to do and get busy setting the plan in motion.
Since I am such a collector of all things Old and Victorian I am really going to have get sorting through things and decide what is going along with us. What a job!
Maybe in the New Year I will have to make a plan and do one room at a time..or start in the basement..this could be why we never got moving in 2010! So daunting of a task..
One thing I know is I will be keeping my collection of Red Transferware..LOVE IT!!

Well I should get busy making my plan of action this weekend. Any volunteers? We are off to a Friend's Dinner Party to bring in the New Year.
May the New Year be filled with Love..Happiness & Good Health for all of You & Your Families!

Hugs,
Wanda

My Great Find!

Today on my weekly visit to Winner's/Homesense (Canada's version of TJ Maxx) I found this sweet magazine holder for our office. It is perfect for our small space and the wainscoting matches the wood we used on the room when we remodeled it last year.
It safely holders some of my collection of Victoria & Tradition Home Magazines..keeping them handy when I sit in the sunbeam in my favorite chair and daydream..

I will need to get out my calligraphy pen and complete the labels so it has a finished look..I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and found some treasures of your own! Take care & thank you for stopping in today..
Hugs,
Wanda

More of My Treasures...

Hello Ladies and Welcome again to Our Home! I am sharing some more random shots of my treasures throughout our home..I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we do living with them.

My Sweetie took this shot about 22 years ago of a wild rose while we were on vacation and we had it blown up and matted to fit into this beautiful vintage frame we had. It hangs in our dining room over the cabinet I store linens in.

Some more of my transferware pieces that I can't get enough of..

I covered this H (for Home) with a damaged piece of lace..

This sweet chiming clock also hangs in the dining room along with the two tea cup prints..

Thanks for stopping in today..have a great weekend!

Wanda
