Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Love.....

Happy Wednesday my fellow Blogging friends!
I am sharing our vintage dresser that we use as a linen storage in the dining area. This was my first time using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in the colour of "Duck Egg". I just love the way it turned out!

It covered in one coat and I finished the piece with the clear wax that was also purchased.

Very rarely do I paint wooden furniture but this piece was in need of allot of stripping etc if I was to keep it as it was. It really seems to have brightened the space and the colour compliments the other pieces we have used in our condo.

Below is my before photo. The piece belonged to my Mother In Law so we are so blessed to have it in our Home.

As you can see the colours in the living Room are great together. Now I am checking around to see what else I can paint...

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Have a great rest of the week!

Tea Time...

Welcome again to my little Blog...
I am having some Earl Grey tea today... won't you join me?

Last week I had ordered some Annie Sloan chalk paint in "Duck Egg" and this is the first piece I have painted. The wood and wicker tray is a piece I made when I attended basket weaving courses some years ago.

I love the way the crisp vintage linen looks on my tray. My next painting project will be a vintage dresser that belonged to my Mother In Law. We currently use it to store linens in our Dining area. It is going to look fabulous in Duck Egg!

Thank you for stopping in to tea with me, sorry I had no sweets to serve but I am trying hard to shed some extra pounds. Have a wonderful week!

Our Chocolate Set

Welcome
Today I am sharing our Chocolate Set that my Sweetie gifted me a few Christmas's ago. It is marked Made in France.I hope you enjoy my photos.

We haven't used it yet but someday I look forward to enjoying some hot chocolate.
I think I have been afraid to use it as it is so delicate...

Thank you for stopping in today!
Blessings,

Wanda
