Duvet changes for Spring!

Welcome Spring! I have decided on a change to our bed linen for Spring... I found this Duvet cover in a Thrift Shop over five years ago and love the colours! Unfortunately it is just a double and our duvet is a King size. My plan this week is to add a creamy linen border from a vintage sheet in my collection to enable me to use it on our bed. Wish me luck!

The following shots are things around the condo I have gathered to enhance the look once I have it ready to change my look.

Don't you just love my metal cloche below? I found it this morning at our local flower shop.. not sure yet if I want to change the colour to creamy white or not. What do you think?

This beautiful floral label below was found on Graphics Fairy.

I will have to add some Spring tulips to my white jug..

My tag was made for me by my sweet friend Cindy in New Orleans.

Loving the detail on the jug...

These three etchings already hang in the dressing area of our Master suite. They were purchased on Ebay for our last home.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Thank you for your sweet comments! Blessing & Love from our Home to yours...

Fashion of 1870

Hello my Fellow Bloggers
Today I am sharing 4 etchings that hang in our Master bedroom. They show us the fashions of 1870. I would love to travel back in time if only for a week and wear some of these beautiful gowns. The Romance of the era really appeals to me but the hardships of the 1800's also scares me a little. Please enjoy...

The workmanship is so intricate and the fabric's & colours are amazing.

I love the little boots she is wearing..

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Wanda
