Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to all my Dear Blogging Friends!
I am sharing some of the photos I took on our way to Canada's West Coast where we are spending the Holidays.

There was a fresh snowfall and the trees looked so magical for the Season

Once we reached the Coast the snow is gone and everything is green and crisp which is odd to see for us

Enjoy your Family time over the Holidays & I look forward to visiting your Blogs in the New Year!

Blessings,

Wanda

Vintage Christmas Postcards

Happy Holidays....
Please fell free to copy my new additions of Vintage Postcards.
I just love the simplicity of the images in the old cards...

The hustle and bustle of the Season is abound and I love imagining what it was like for our ancestors this time of year.
Handmade gifts and baking with lots of time lovingly spent with Family & Friends.

If your Holidays involve travelling I hope your journey is a safe one.
Take care & thank you for stopping in today....

Hugs

Reflections

This time of year I like to take the time to reflect on the year that has passed and remember the good times as well as the sad times.
Life is such a wonderful blessing and enjoying our Family & Friends is one of my favourite things.

As I grow older I notice the years seem to pass by much faster than when I was younger. Where does the time go...

As we look forward to the next year I look forward to making new memories and new friends.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season filled with Love & Laughter!

Blessings,

Wanda

Vintage Bird Etchings Collection

Happy Fall my fellow Bloggers!
Today I am sharing with you my most recent collection of Vintage Bird Etchings.
The pieces are from the late 1800's and where once in a book.
The colours are so bright and crisp I love each one as much as the first.I hope you enjoy them as much as I do...

The two framed below were done in a 16 x 20 frame and it hangs in the entranceway of the our Condo Lobby. It was hard to get a good shot of the finished piece with the glare of the glass.
I will have to choose carefully when deciding which other ones to frame as the cost of framing and matting them was high.
I am joining Sandi @ Rose Chintz Cottage so please check out the other posts.

Changes in our Ensuite

Welcome & thank you for stopping in today. I am sharing photos of the newest addition to our ensuite. The stained glass piece was one of the first pieces I made.

This vintage cabinet was a piece that was available at the Antique Sale I helped with a few weeks ago. I love that it is so shallow in depth but holders so much storage and decor pieces.

This sweet little hand painted lid is so pretty... don't you agree?

My guest towel below was made by my Grandmother Laura and she passed away at age 36 so it is very special to me.

The label above is one I found on Graphics Fairy and I love it colours and design.

The little baskets are great for storing extra hand towels and air fresheners etc.

Don't you just love the sweet cherub below. I was told he used to be part of a napkin ring.

Some needlework pieces above in the room that were made by Family members, and the pieces below are vintage.

Today I am joining Sandi @ Rose Chintz Cottage so check out the other posts if you have time.
