Hello Ladies... Welcome to my Blog today! I just wandered around our small English Garden and snapped away I hope you enjoy..
As some of you know my Sweetie and I are downsizing from our 1924 two story home to a new condo in small town nearby. The beautiful Valley we will be living in has Market gardens for fresh fruit & veggies as well as many quaint gift stores and coffee..tea shops.
As much as I am excited to begin the next stage in our lives at the same time I will miss the old house and little garden.
I will cherish this last month we are here and plan to create a memory book so I can visit often & remember the happy times we had here.
My fern patch is so thick this year ...so beautiful!
These garden glass stepping stones I created will be moving to my Son's garden..
Thank you for stopping in today ... have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Wanda,
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of treasures in your garden-you are right it is too bad we didn't live closer!
Did you already sell your home? It sounds like a lovely place you are moving to and I wish you all the best in your new adventure.I will enjoy visiting your new home through your blog.
Have a lovely weekend,
Carolyn

It's never easy to say goodbye to a place you have called home, but the excitment of a new adventure awaits and it's all good. I wish you all the luck in the world, Char
ReplyDeleteThank you for your reply and I am so happy for you to have sold so quickly-that must have been a big relief as it can be stressful if it takes awhile.

What lovely images of your garden ~ It is very stressful moving. You will be happy in your new nest. Exciting times ahead creating a loving and lovely home ;-)
ReplyDeleteHello Wanda :) Lovely photos of your garden ~ I will be looking forward to seeing photos of your new home once you are all moved in and settled ~ how nice to be making a memory book of this home so that you can "visit" whenever you like :)

Hi Wanda,
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying for a smooth transition to the new place. I love old homes, especially those from the 1920s and earlier...so much character and lots of cool nooks and crannies ;) :) Your garden is lovely :) :) I'm glad that you'll have easy access to fresh produce and coffee at the new place :) :) Have a great weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :) :)
p.s. I think the idea of a memory book is really good :) :) You'll have stories to tell and pictures to go with them :) :)

What beautiful garden treasures you have!! I am drooling over all of them!
ReplyDeleteDid you sell your home already and are you moving at the end of this month?
The town you are movingsto sounds lovely. I hope you will share it with all of us.
Now you will be in a condo? Is that like in an apartment building or is it like my townhouse where homes are connnected on the sides? I know different parts of the country call multiple home units different things. So you will not have a yard? I am glad I have a little yard in my townhouse.
I know that as my arthritis progresses, we will not be able to stay here because of the 13 steps to get to our front porch alone. We plan on moving to an apartment in the complex where my sons are living which is right next to our development.
Good luck with your move and looking forward to seeing your new home!
Hugs,
Deb
Thank you all for your well wishes. We get possession of our apartment style condo June 30th and move in July 4th. Our home sold and possession is August 1st so I have a month to set up a house sale with all my treasures I have decided to part with. Our new place is 1236 sq ft so we be losing 600 sq ft. Really looking forward to less cleaning! We have a balcony so my garden space will consist of potted plants next year. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Wanda
Wanda: I love all your garden treasures! One can do alot with a balcony and have a darling retreat. I see you will certainly already know how to transform it!
ReplyDeleteOh, Wanda. I can imagine how hard it must be to leave such a lovely home and garden. But, on to the next stage, right? Good luck. Susan
ReplyDeleteJust lovely! Your garden is so pretty! :) Thanks for sharing it!
