More of my Vintage jewelry collection..

Welcome to my Blog today! I am sharing another grouping of my collection of Vintage jewelry today. My love of Cameos started early in my 30's when my hair colour was a auburn tone and my wardrobe consisted of allot of browns and taupes.

My cameo necklace is a piece my Sweetie gifted me one year for christmas and I have been told by an appraiser it is from the early 1900's. The small seed pearls add to its charm and I adore it!

My smaller bracelet was found in a quaint Antique shop on our vacation to Bath England  thirteen years ago.

The lighter coloured cameo ring was also gifted to me by my Sweet husband and I found the bigger bracelet in my home town.

On our vacation to PEI Canada the lovely hostess of our B & B gifted me the darker cameo ring... so sweet of her! She sold jewelry & antiques from the B & B and I left with quite a few pieces I will be sharing in the weeks to come.

I hope you enjoyed another glimpse into my collection and I look forward to sharing another grouping next week. Have a wonderful week ahead!

Hugs,
Wanda

  3. Oh my how lovely. I only have one and it was one that my FIL gave to my MIL. When she gave it to me she said that she wanted me to have it because Mr OP loved me as mush as my FIL loved her - how sweet was that?

Enjoy wearing them in good health!

  7. Hi Wanda,
Ooh you have the prettiest collection of vintage pieces. I love cameos! I remember my grandmother having a couple and I loved them. I was so smitten by the ring box in your last post that your mother's wedding ring came in. What a treasure for you to have. You really have some wonderful vintage pieces my friend.

  11. I am reading backwards in your blog ....
    Such a stunning bracelet!
Visiting Italy drew my attention to cameo's. I have a big vintage pendant on which I had a clasp fixed, so that I can attach it to a string of pearls (and use the pearls for other pendants just the same). It looks marvellous.
I hope you do wear your jewelry regularly? The boxes are so nice, but jewelry should really be worn.
Nice that you share this all with us.

  12. Your cameo necklace is extremely special because it has lots of history on it! It's always very satisfying for a collector to fetch some valuable finds, more so when they're of this caliber. Cheers, Wanda! :)

  13. I wonder how much your antique jewelry would cost now. We all know vintage jewelry increases in value as it gets older, but i'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to sell them. I mean, it isn’t just financially valuable. It holds a lot of sentimental value too -- memories that can never be replaced by just any ordinary jewelry, am I right?
