Holiday preparations

Welcome my Blogging Friends! Although it is early for me to start preparing for Christmas I thought I had better get started locating the Christmas Decor items we had saved for the Condo.

Of course I just had to pick up some new items as well.. ; ) These little brush trees are so perfect for our colour scheme I picked up three of them at our local Winners Store (TJ Maxx to most of you) $5.99 each..what a deal!

I have offered to decorate the Lobby and a table in Our hallway so I am still getting to do what I love.... Decorate!

This display is located on a table when you get off our elevator on Our floor so I get to see it every time I am too lazy to take the stairs.

I loved using my red's in this arrangement and I found the skate at Winners too!

I Love this little skate!

The stores seem to be full of the silver & Taupe themes this year and I am loving the look.

I wil try and take some shots of the Lobby as it turned out Fabulous if I don't say so myself!

When do you like to start your Holiday decorating?

Well we are off to visit Our three Grandson's today as they are in town visiting. I can't believe they are growing up so fast! The oldest is 16 and the twins are 12. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Our fifth Grand Baby in early December and Baby's older Sister just turned 2 so we will have a wonderful time over the Holidays!
Have a wonderful week ahead... Blessing from Our home to Yours..

  3. Hi Wanda :) I am sooo looking forward to decorating for Christmas ~ it's my favorite time of the year, and with having our first Grandson, it will be even more special. He will be just over 3 1/2 months, so it might be a little hard to find things for his age; so perhaps find a couple of things for when he is just a little bit older and can look forward to playing with :)

Have a wonderful time with your Grandson's today, and congratulations on the soon to be arrival of your 5th grandchild!

    Warmest hugs, Brenda

I am new to your blog. I have also started Christmas decorating early this year. It is perhaps one of my most favourite holidays. Don't you love having a reason to celebrate?! LOL The bottle brush trees are, indeed, precious. I enjoyed my visit today.

Wishing you a beautiful week ahead,

  12. How great you got to decorate the hall. I think that is called 'decking the halls' right? ;-)So pretty.
I love your silver bottle brush trees. Silver and red is my favorite colors for the holidays.
I am doing the same thing, gathering up some things I would love to use this year in my holiday decor. I always love adding new pretties to my old favorites. I am sure your home will be beautiful this Christmas.

  15. Your Christmas trees are lovely, and the little skate is so sweet. TJ Maxx is a favorite of mine. I go there every couple weeks. I don't start decorating until December, but you have inspired me to start early. I love how everything looks at your house.
