Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays my Friends! Don't you just love the excitement and wonder of the Season?

I finally got the tree up last week when my Sweetie was on a Business trip. One of our "Boys" below has been laying under the tree every chance he gets and messing up my tree skirt! I had better get some gifts wrapped so he to keep out of the skirt. Sweetpea (I know sounds like a girl) has always loved getting among lace curtains or pillows and he loves to drape himself in anything decorative. It is the funniest thing.. he is my decorator puppy. I should snap photos of him doing this and I would have a great post for all to enjoy.

Sweetpea loves to walk under the tree and make the glass bell ring when it touches his wailing tail!
The next photos are just shots of some of my favourite decorations.

I really love the way the vintage Christmas postcards add to my decor.

Thank you for taking the time to stop in today... Below my sister & I (on Santa's lap) in 1961. Oh the Memories...

  1. Awwwwwwww, everything looks great! Love your tree and decorations. Sweetpea is adorable, too. You know what, Wanda? My Honey Cat also LOVES going under the tree. Unbelieveable. She just hunkers down under there and my tree rotates! You'd think she'd be scared but nooooooo, she LOVES it. ha ha ha

Take care and have a great Sunday. Susan

  2. OH, I really love your Christmas tree with all the pinks. My grandmother used to decorate her Christmas tree in all pinks. I think I'll copy that tradition :) :) Oh, your dog Sweetpea is just the cutest :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather ;)

  3. Hi Wanda :) Your tree is beautiful and love the ornaments! And how cute are you and your sister in that photo!! So precious :) I have 2 kitties that LOVE to lay underneath my tree. Wishing you Happy Holidays too my friend!!

And I adore that Santa picture...You won't believe it...I had almost the exact plaid pants that year--I had a pair in red and in blue! They must have been popular...unreal, huh? Even our moms had the same taste! No wonder we think alike, my friend.
