Hope...Faith... Believe...

Welcome & thank you for stopping in!
I am hoping for the best outcome for my American friends tonight as they tally up their election ballets.

Aren't the feathers of a Peacock beautiful? I came across a bunch of them for sale at the local Dollarama  store and love the colours.

My transferware bowl is one of my favourite pieces as a Dear friend gifted it to me for my Birthday years ago and although the years and miles have separated us I think of her every time I see the bowl.

The marking simply says "Lake". I have only seem one more of these in an Antique shop a few years ago and it was marked $75.00 so needless to say I still only have the one.

Enjoy the rest of your week!
Blessings,

Wanda

  5. I just love beautiful marks on china! A gorgeous plate too. Peacock feathers are one of the miracles of nature. A group of them would be a beautiful thing to have.

  6. I love your beautiful bowl and the fact that it reminds you of the dear friend who gave it to you. I have never seen one like it before, but now you will have me looking every time I go into a shop : )
Those are the treasures we should have in our lives. Oh my, those feathers are so pretty Wanda! I hope you have been well and are enjoying this beautiful autumn. We got a little snow today and boy oh boy is it cold here. I was thinking of you today and wondering if you had gotten a storm too?
    sending hugs...

  7. Very pretty plates, those peacock feathers are a flashback from the past. My mother used to have a vase full of peacock feathers - so colourful.
    Best Wishes
    Karen.
