Welcome to my early Pink Saturday Post..I am featuring parts of our powder room in the first few photos..
As you may have guessed from all of the vintage soap labels on my sidebar..I love fancy..sweet smelling soaps! I have a problem passing them by and rarely return home from a shopping trip without a few new bars..
The glass jar in this photo belonged to my Grandmother & then my Mother and I love storing my soaps in vintage jars & containers..don't they look pretty?
The vintage mirror below was found in a local Antique shop and the needlework is so delicately done..I love it!
The victorian print below is a beautiful piece I found when we visited PEI two years ago
I hope you enjoyed my PINK's today..Have a wonderful time visiting everyone who has joined this event. Thank you Beverly from How Sweet the Sound for hosting!
HI Wanda, I'm not sure if I've left a comment here or not yet :) :) I just recentyl joined your blog :) :) :) I love it..and I love Victorian things, too...so it's a win-win :) :) :) All of your pink things are great. You know ever since I started blogging, I've discovered tea and the color pink :) :) Your items are beautiful and what a blessing it is :) :) there was one photo with that beautiful hand mirror with the counted cross-stitch embroider...is that in the bathroom? I loved the lacy sheer covering that open space below the table/shelf..and the tiles on the floor...nice!!!! I notice stuff like that :) :)
Oh what's the item in the last photo? It's really pretty with pink roses and has an odd'shaped handle on top?...It looks like it could hold a nice piece of cake or something? Anyway, I like it a lot :) :)
Have a lovely rest of the week, Wanda. Love and hugs from Oregon, :) :) :)
Hello Heather thanks for stopping in..Yes the hand mirror is in the bathroom. The lace I have under the built in cabinet hides many things..bathroom tissue..plunger etc. ;) The last photo is a biscuit jar and a cheese or butter keeper. Come back and visit again it was a pleasure meeting you! Hugs, Wanda
Wanda,...thanks :) :) I forgot to ask...that first image you have posted, is that from The Graphics Fairy? I really like that image..and it's very Victoriana :) :) :) Love and hugs, Heather :) :)
p.s. Thanks for telling me what those pieces were :) :) :) I love the lacey sheer...very pretty and makes the bathroom look prettier too. I just keep toilet paper and things in the linen closet...although one of these days I'm tempted to make fabric shelf liners with a lace eding just to pretty it up a bit :) :)
I really love your post today! so many beautiful things you mix and match them beautifully!. Love the glass jars, the floral dishes and of course the beautiful hand mirror! love them all!
Wanda, enjoyed this post and also the older ones I had a chance to view. Loved the story about the settee. I was looking back for more photos of your house, I love big old houses. You are blessed to have one and to have such beautiful things to fill it.

Hi Wanda, All of a sudden I have a flash back on a visit to this big department store in London, where you could buy (and sniff) old French perfumes. Your pictures of the 'savons' all of a sudden remind of this. They were heavy scents. Plenty of French perfumes waiting for me there everyday, but light ones. How nice your friends are out at Grou. They will enjoy the season right now as there is some interesing sailing going on, real events! It is 2 hrs away from us, which we find a long distance - well, we are a small country and are not used to big scales. I enjoyed all your pinks and your china on here, and the beautiful picture of the roses at the top! Happy weekend, Jacoba
