This week I am remembering my Mother and saying goodbye..... until we meet again.....
My Mother passed away last week after a long journey of 15 years with Alzheimer's Disease. She has been in a Nursing Home the last 10 years and is finally free of the disease that trapped her here on earth since she was 65 years old. She has now joined my Father who passed away 35 years ago this month.
I am so happy and relieved they are finally reunited and although my heart is heavy I am glad she is finally at peace.
It was such a blessing to be able to be with her when she passed and started her next journey.
Although Mom has not known who I was for over 8 years I know in my heart that she knew she was loved these last years of her life.
I miss you already Mom....
Love forever.....
Wanda

Olga.

Oh my friend...I'm so sorry for your loss. Fifteen years is a long time...my dad's been incarcerated in a nursing home now for ten. Long goodbye. Your Momma lived without your daddy for 35 years...now they are together again.
ReplyDeleteEaster Blessings to you and love and BIG ((HUGS)).
Love, Rebecca
