Welcome & thank you for stopping in today. I am sharing the Toile Sachets I have made this week.
In my years of collecting I have gathered many vintage fabrics and laces. My plan was always to design something I would love and hoped others would love them as much as I do.
Each one is filled with 1/2 a cup of wonderful lavender and finished with pillow stuffing to fill the sachet.
Toile design fabric is one of my favourite and it goes so well with my transferware collection.
The process of choosing the lace for each sachet was hard as I hated cutting the vintage lace but I am happy I did it as I love the way it looks on the pieces.
Red toile is my first choice but the black co-ordinates better with our condo colours.
Thank you for your visit! This has got my creative juices going so who know what I will create for my next project. Thank you for your comments!
Hugs,
Wanda

They are so beautiful Wanda! I LOVE them!!! I know what you mean about cutting up the old laces though. But I wonder what else I would do with them if I didn't use them on the hearts and sachets. Every time I go to a shop or sale I seem to just buy more so they must be used somehow I guess :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing great and the weather is turning to spring for you my friend.
many hugs from me...

I'm sure I would enjoy making something as pretty and good smelling as this. I have collected all sorts of laces and things that I tell myself would make something pretty, but I have a hard time cutting into it too. Bravo for you! Just lovely!
