Family
Hello & welcome
Today I am going through some old Family photographs trying to identify the subjects. This selection of photos are from my Mother's family and most are simply marked Arthur Family.
I know the shot below is of my Great Grandparents.
This photo is marked Arthur Twins but as with many of them I need to gather more information on their first names and who their parents are. Don't you just love the furniture!
I love the dress's and beautiful hats of the Era.
Now I have the time in my Retirement to go through the many boxes of Family photos and letters and try to get our Family tree started. It also reminds me to put names on all of our photos so our children have the information in the future.
I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into my Family tree.
Blessings,
Wanda

It's wonderful that you have these beautiful old family photos. I hope you enjoy researching them. I just love the glimpse of history in old photographs in general, and find them so interesting. I don't have nearly enough of them.

So amazing to see how many photos you have of your family! WOW! Unfortunately I do not have too many to look through of that era. Supposedly there was a fire. Sad! But, I have many to see after the 1920's etc.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are a real treasure. Enjoy your family tree search! And yes, mark the photos...something I am not very good at doing.
Thanks so much for stopping by to congratulate the winners of my anniversary giveaway!

Thank you so much for following me. I think we share some of the same loves. The vanity mirror is fabulous! I've had the same vanity/powder jars. Too sweet! I'm sure I will enjoy reading your posts and following your blog.
