Linen Love....
Welcome Dear blogging friends,
This weekend I spent a day selling some of my Vintage Linen collection at a local sale. While I am still loving my collection I realize once again I have too many pieces and feel it is a shame to keep them boxed up while someone else could be enjoying their beauty. I hope you enjoy a few snaps of some of my favourites.
While at the sale I came across the collar below and had to have it! I have never seen once of this style. If any of you have an idea of the style or its possible age please let me know.
Isn't it darling....
The nightgown below is so pretty and the cotton is so crisp and white.
Thank you for stopping in today I really appreciate our comments! Have a great week ahead.
Hugs,
Wanda
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces!! Love the collar but unfortunately, I don't know anything about it!

Hello Wanda....Oh, I can so identify with you. It's so hard to part with our treasures, isn't it? Love the pieces of your collection that you showed. Susan
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda,
ReplyDeletePretty pieces and great photo styling too! Thanks for visiting my Garden Tea Party and for leaving a sweet comment! Happy Tuesday! Gina
Dear Wanda,
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous linen and lace you have shown and I often marvel at all the time and hand work that has gone into pretty pieces like this.
The collar is so beautiful and can see why you had to buy this - it does look very old and fine.
Happy week
hugs
Carolyn
Hi Wanda! It seems pretty clear that my mirror and your vanity jars originated from the same manufactured set. How sweet! You have some gorgeous linen pieces here. That collar seems quite old. Beautiful. (Since you asked, I soak my problem linens in an oxygen cleaner (like Oxyclean) for sometimes as long as a couple of days, and hope for the best.) I'm always selling off my linen collection too!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty linens! I too have accumulated many linens and love every one of them.
ReplyDeleteBlessings~
Ooooh! Lovely! The condition they are in is fabulous, too. I am also curious about the collar...maybe for a girl's confirmation or something to do with church? Just a guess!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your collection with us,
Jillian

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words about my back. I'm a strong willed person and hopefully I'll be good as new before long! Or...good as old? tee hee...
