Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Love.....
Happy Wednesday my fellow Blogging friends!
I am sharing our vintage dresser that we use as a linen storage in the dining area. This was my first time using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in the colour of "Duck Egg". I just love the way it turned out!
It covered in one coat and I finished the piece with the clear wax that was also purchased.
Very rarely do I paint wooden furniture but this piece was in need of allot of stripping etc if I was to keep it as it was. It really seems to have brightened the space and the colour compliments the other pieces we have used in our condo.
Below is my before photo. The piece belonged to my Mother In Law so we are so blessed to have it in our Home.
As you can see the colours in the living Room are great together. Now I am checking around to see what else I can paint...
I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Have a great rest of the week!
I am joining Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage today so check it out!

Hi Wanda,
ReplyDeleteThe dresser looks cute that color. I'm not one to paint my furniture either but I agree with what you said about your piece needing it.
Love those porcelain cherub candelabras.
Have a great rest of your week,
Gina
